Howto: Flash BIOS on Acer Aspire One
Howto: Flash BIOS on Acer Aspire One Video Clips. Duration : 1.85 Mins.
Donate: www.Zhuk.co.uk Follow on twitter @joecox406 I recently had the Black Screen Of Death so I tried to Flash the BIOS and it worked again! Download the BIOS from: zhuk.in 1: Extract the .ZIP 2: Rename the Bios name from 3309.fd to zg5ia32.fd 3: Copy zg5ia32.fd and Flashit.exe to USB flash drive. 4: A: Make sure the power cable is in! B: The laptop is turned OFF! C: Plug the USB stick in! Press and HOLD down the FN and ESC key TOGETHER Then press the power button, Whilst holding the buttons! Release the power button and continue holding FN and ESC for about 5 seconds. Release the buttons and the power light will start to blink. Let the laptop run and DO NOT press anything This can take upto 7 mins When it's done the laptop will restart. It should now work :D This is for the Acer Aspire One netbook laptop.

www.theacerguy.com Here I talk about how I recovered a LINUX Acer Aspire One A110 with just a USB Thumb Drive (any will do but make sure it's at least 2GB). This is a how-to for anyone who has an Aspire One, has messed around with Linux, got lost and now needs to restore it to factory settings. Make sure you watch THE ENTIRE aspire one recovery video because there are sections where it gets a little technical and you have to work fast. *Note This installation / recovery only works with the LINUX models - for Windows XP, just use eRecovery (ALT + F10 when you boot up.* For the original article on The Acer Guy blog, click here: www.theacerguy.com
